Description
I was inspired to become a nurse by my mother. I started my nursing career working in the intensive care unit (ICU). My 18 years as a critical care nurse taught me the importance of preventative health care and motivated me to become a family nurse practitioner. I am passionate about chronic disease prevention and optimizing wellness throughout the lifespan. I aim to educate and to empower my patients to manage their health. I live in Hillsborough with my husband, children and our dog. When I am not at the clinic, I enjoy reading, gardening and walking.
